Baby-Care Basics
For Baby-Care Basics, participants photographed everyday objects and substances from our lives as mothers on a flatbed scanner. We scanned everything from breast milk, to applesauce to safety plugs. For the first incarnation of this piece, the scans were paired with a nine-minute sound piece of our edited interviews of mothers created by Jane Jones, with music by Yisroel Gootblatt.
