Greetings From Motherland is an evolving, collaborative community art project, and the collaboration extends to the web. While I am directing and producing workshops and public exhibitions and events in various real world locations, I am also actively seeking participation from mothers everywhere.

Through the website, I invite everyone to complete and submit work in response to a series of assignments called Dispatches. I have a broad definition of “mothering”, so everyone is welcome to participate, as long as the assignment sparks something in you and your submission fits within the requirements of the dispatch.

When you submit, it is important to follow the instructions as accurately as possible, as the projects are designed to create a common framework for the repository of material about our experiences in Motherland. Many of the submissions will be showcased here on the blog, and will be incorporated into the public installations and events.

I am also available to run custom workshops, to speak about the project, or present artwork from Greetings From Motherland in your community.  Please contact me to find out more.
